A Father’s Cry

This is a cry
to the heaven’s above
From a father in
so much pain
I’m about to lose my son
and I don’t know why
My heart is filled with so much doubt
I raised Him up
from the day he was born
with all the love
a father could give
and now the time has come
for me to say goodbye
and I don’t want to let him go

I watched His life
with much pride in my heart
I’ve seen Him grow into
such a great Man
He's touched so many lives
and healed all our hearts
we've all been blessed with His amazing soul
I raised Him up

I don’t want to let Him go

There's no greater pain
than a parent loosing their child
I would give my heart and soul
I would even give my life
if I thought it would save my Son
